  1. Vg is a GIF, JPG, Photo-CD viewer.  Its usage message is:

  3. show files:
  4.  
  5.     vg [-d <display>] [-132] [-n] [-w <delay>] [-x <depth>] files ...
  6.  
  7.     -d <display>    specify the type of display (ATI/S3/TRIDENT/TSENG/VESA)
  8.             default is to auto-detect the display type
  9.  
  10.     -132        use 132 column mode for menus if one is available
  11.  
  12.     -n            nomenu - do not display file selection menus
  13.  
  14.     -w <delay>        slide-show mode - wait <delay> seconds between images
  15.  
  16.     -x <depth>        specify maximum color depth to use (8/15/16/24)
  17.             default is maximum depth supported by the hardware
  18.  
  19. test mode:

  21.     vg [-d <display>] [-t] [-v]
  22.  
  23.     -t            test mode - display a grid and color bars in each
  24.             supported mode
  25.  
  26.     -v            display a list of supported modes
  27.  
  28. Note:
  29.   Vg uses the DOS emulation features of the SCO Unix kernel to execute
  30.   the video BIOS.  It needs to be set-UID root to do this.
